High Performance Lubricants Break-In Only Oil is a lubricant formulated and designed for initial break in of commercial, street and racing engines. Available in 10wt, 5W-30, 10W-40, and 20W-50 viscosities, this specialized oil facilitates precise surface mating and aids in piston ring sealing during the engine’s crucial break-in phase. Formulated without detergents, it enables the ZDDP additive to directly bond to all ferrous metal wear surfaces, delivering protection against scuffing. It’s important to note that this oil is exclusively designed for the engine break-in process and should not be used beyond this stage.
